Art-Flow Movement, its affiliations and the vision of community art.

Art-Flow Movement is a platform for local artists, writers, musicians, filmmakers and art studios to come together to collaborate and create sustainable art.

All AFM’s projects are community art projects like books, graphic novels, art exhibitions, installation art, music, films and many more where the revenue generated is shared among the artists for their contributions.

With collaborative studios across Hyderabad AFM makes it easier for the local artists to come together and work on these community projects.

AFM  is  an integral part of Hustle Yellow & Studios of  HY, a cluster of art studios that are being built in a 40 acre farm  of  ‘Mango Plains’ which is  located 75kms away from Hyderabad, in a village of Gangadharpally.

Studio HY

Nickil Snow’s Studio HY, which is  in its incubation stage, is the initiator of Art-Flow Movement. His art studios aim to make arts sustainable and communal, working majorly in the areas of natural color painting, literature and filmmaking. Studios of HY are being set in a  farm  of Mango Plains and Studio HY, the city-end of HY is located in Madhapur.

Prakriti Ecoplay

Bhargavi Vardhan’s Prakriti Ecoplay is an alternative learning centre for kids which works with practical and sustainable learning methods to nurture children’s creativity. Prakriti Ecoplay’s art workshops and events also cater to adults enabling them to embrace their innerchild. Prakriti Ecoplay is located in Alwal.

Mango Plains

Vamsi Chokka’s Mango Plains is a 40 acre mango farm practicing natural farming methods to yield the rich in taste natural produce. Mango Plains is 75 kms away from Hyderabad and is a getaway art-therapy. With the cluster of art studios that are being set in the farm, Mango Plains aim to become a sustainable-art-vacation.

AFM's Vision

What we are is mostly because of the community we grew up in. Good or bad it has the great influence on us. Then why shouldn't we choose to have a good influence, may be we should build one. Art can do that, art is a communal thing. But in this digital age the spirit of communal art is compromised by the imaginary race tracks we built for ourselves. And the capitalism adds to it, making it gravely toxic for our mental health.

Let's strive not to do better than others, instead strive to do better things with others, this will build better communities, better communities together build a better world.

Community art is healthy, let's come together, share and discuss ideas, learn from each other and contribute our skillful efforts in creating sustainable community art.

There’s noise in this world, let our scars sing raw and loud, let the world listen to the music of hope.

There’s a sea of broken hearts, let’s sail to them in our little paper boats of loving literature and bring them to the lands of joy.

There’s clouding gloominess wafting through the valleys of its skyscrapers, let’s paint suns and rainbows and bring more people to dance on the meadows.

There are tamed minds and single lensed eyes, let’s show them the grand spectrum of life’s darkness and light through the prism of cinema.

There’s chaos in the world, let’s be the counter-chaos.
